Interpublic Clarifies Earlier Agency Statement
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 2006--Earlier today one of our smaller agencies released a statement concerning Interpublic's (NYSE: IPG) decision to not issue a bond in support of potential new business. To clarify, our decision had absolutely nothing to do with our ability to secure this $1 million bond, an inconsequential amount in the context of our company's financial capacity. Instead, our decision was based on strategic considerations.
