Interpublic Declares Dividend

New York, July 26, 2001- The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. (NYSE: IPG) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend of 9 ½ cents per share on the common stock to holders of record as of the close of business on August 30, 2001. The payment date of the dividend will be September 17, 2001.
