IPG Chief Diversity Officer Elected to Board of NY Urban League

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 5, 2012-- Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) today announced that Heide Gardner, the company’s Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, has been elected to the Board of the New York Urban League (NYUL). For over 90 years, the NYUL has been helping disadvantaged New Yorkers gain access to equal opportunity in employment, education, health care, housing and the civic arena.
