Kevin Allen Joins Lowe Worldwide as Vice Chairman

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2006-- Lowe Worldwide, a unit of The Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), announced today that Kevin Allen will join its management ranks on July 3rd as Vice Chairman. His responsibilities will include global marketing and business development.

In his new London-based role, Allen will work closely with Worldwide CEO, Steve Gatfield and Worldwide Chairman, Tony Wright.

Allen joins from Interpublic sister agency McCann Worldgroup, where he was most recently Executive Vice President, Worldwide Director of Global Accounts. For the previous two years he was Chief Growth Officer for the Interpublic Group. Before that, Allen served as EVP, Director of Corporate Development at McCann Worldgroup. In all three positions Allen was responsible for spearheading multinational new business initiatives as well as championing integrated marketing campaigns to key global clients.

During his time at McCann Worldgroup, Allen led the team responsible for a number of global new business wins including MasterCard, Siemens, Microsoft Europe and Lufthansa. He was responsible for the cross-discipline servicing of multinational accounts like L'Oreal, GM, Unilever and Nestle.

In 2005 he was seconded to Lowe as part of the pitch team responsible for landing the Nokia account. Allen coordinated four Interpublic companies to provide a multi-disciplinary communications program for Nokia.

Active in several civic causes, Allen served as an advisor to New York City's Mayor Rudy Giuliani as part of his election team.
