|Interpublic Group Is Most Nominated Network for Upcoming MM&M Awards|
New York, NY - June 14, 2013 - Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) received more nominations than any other holding company for this year's Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M) Awards. These awards recognize the most effective and most creative work in healthcare marketing.
This year, five IPG agencies - Deutsch, Draftfcb Healthcare, Hill Holliday, ICC Lowe and McCann Health - received 18 nominations across 12 categories. Over the past seven years, IPG has won 22 MM&M Gold awards - more than any other holding company. This year, IPG agencies were nominated in categories including Best Corporate Marketing Campaign, Best App for Healthcare Professionals, Best Consumer Print Campaign and Best Professional Print Campaign.

The process that led to the nominations in each category, and which will ultimately select the winners, was an extensive one. For the first stage of judging, 60 individuals from the healthcare communications industry graded the submissions to create a shortlist of 15-20 finalists per category. A select group of judges then narrowed each category to five nominations. Based on these judges' gradings, the Gold and Silver winners will be announced at the MM&M Awards at Cipriani in New York City on October 2nd, 2013.
