Interpublic and Spongecell Form Strategic Partnership

Will Pursue Joint Initiatives in Event and Promotions Management Technology

NEW YORK, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Interpublic (NYSE: IPG) announced today that it has formed a partnership with Spongecell, a Web services company that has developed innovative event management technology allowing promoters and event planners to effectively and efficiently communicate with and market to new and existing customers. As part of the agreement, Interpublic will have preferred partner status in implementing Spongecell's solutions for its clients. Interpublic will also obtain a preferred equity share in Spongecell.
