Interpublic's Magna Global USA Expands Into Programming

Robert Riesenberg Named Head of MAGNA Global Entertainment

NEW YORK , NY ( February 8, 2002) – Interpublic's MAGNA Global USA today announced its expansion into programming with the formation of MAGNA Global Entertainment.

Robert Riesenberg, previously Executive Vice President, Managing Director of the Universal McCann Entertainment Group, has been named Executive Vice President/Director, MAGNA Global Entertainment. In its short existence, Universal McCann Entertainment Group created programming servicing the marketing and media efforts of six of its clients with 11 hours of primetime network programming in 2001.

“With the creation of MAGNA Global Entertainment, we can now offer all of Interpublic's clients an additional opportunity to reach their customers through the creation of the targeted programming environment,” said Bill Cella, chairman of MAGNA Global USA. “Riesenberg brings extensive knowledge of client supplied programming to MAGNA.”

Says Riesenberg; “We now have the opportunity to build on the success of the past year by taking advantage of the resources of MAGNA and Interpublic. This will only enhance our ability to provide our clients with programming platforms that break through the clutter and more effectively help them market their brands.”

In addition, Tracy Dorsey has been appointed Associate Director/Vice President of MAGNA Global Entertainment. Previously Dorsey served as vice president of programming at Universal McCann Entertainment Group since its inception and has been a major factor contributing to its success.
